Pentool tag series

This is my series of Pentool tags. And by “Pentool”, I’m referring to the pen tool in Photoshop. I have just grown to love it and used it as a drawing tool. Since I don’t have a wacom, using the pen tool allows me more control over drawing by mouse. In the following tags, I have drawn the entire backgrounds using the pen tool. I really love vector-based tags, because they just look awesome and are colourful! Well enjoy:

Bugs Bunny:

What can I say, Bugs Bunny was a childhood favorite (one of the best cartoons from WB – don’t you agree?). It was my first experiment of drawing with the pen tool. I just hated that I can’t always find the right background image for my tags – so I decided to make my own (hehe :D). This is what I got:

Patrick and Spongebob:

One of my favorite cartoon series. When i saw the render, I just had to make a tag with it.

 Spongebob Squarepants:

Yet another Spongebob tag. This one was made as per request from a friend.

 

Tasmanian Devil:

I’m sure you guys remember Taz! Another one of my favs from WB. This one was also made as per request from another friend.

 Yosemite Sam:

Hehe, does he need an intro? Yosemite Sam – the “hootiness, tootiness, shootiness bob tailed wild cat in the west”. Bugs + Yosemite Sam was an awesome combination 😀 I made this as per request from a friend.

Apu:

Well I’m sure you all know the #1 best rated cartoon of all time – The Simpsons. And here’s Apu – Stereotype character of an Indian 😛 I gave it as a gift to a friend.

 Mickey & Minnie:

Yes, it’s the world’s most famous cartoon couple. Made this for the final round in a series of battles, and I won! What can I say – I ❤ the pen tool!

 Oscar – The Grouch:

Yes it’s Oscar from Sesame Street. Most of the stuff next to the trash bin is part of the render (the pot, the can, the apple core and the shoe). But rest is by me – using the pen tool and the rectangular marquee tool.

 Bart Simpson:

Bart the “Brat” – always up to no good. And yes, I ❤ The Simpsons! Here Bart is just having some skating fun!

Chris Griffin:

Yep from Family Guy. Although I don’t really like Family Guy, I just loved the render and had to make something with it. I gave it as a gift to a friend.

Brian and Stewy:

Another Family Guy tag – featuring Brian and Stewy! Everything apart from them was drawn by me using PS Pen tool. Gave it as a gift to a friend.

Summer Vacation:

Just some holiday fun for El Barto! Again – everything apart from Bart was done by my magical Pen tool!
